And we still have more work to do.
This Weekend Just Got More Exciting
OFA Iowa | By Brad Anderson, Iowa State Director on June 21, 2012
This weekend, volunteers across Iowa will be hitting the streets for President Obama — and next week, one of them will be grabbing a bite with Vice President Joe Biden.
Here’s the deal: The Vice President is coming to Iowa to meet with volunteers and talk about the critical choice facing the voters this fall. Along the way, he’s reserving some time to grab a bite with a supporter like you and whoever you choose to bring.
We need your help this weekend because early voting in Iowa starts in less than 100 days. Simply put, one-on-one conversations win elections in Iowa. It’s on us to go door to door to get the word out about the President’s accomplishments and the importance of early voting. We need to make sure every supporter understands the stakes — and is ready to vote.
If you come out and volunteer on Saturday, you’ll be automatically entered to win a special thank you from the Vice President — face to face.
Helping the campaign and meeting the Vice President — what’s not to love?
Sign up for Saturday’s day of action now:
P.S. — If you can’t make it out this Saturday, you can still catch the Vice President at one of his public stops in Waterloo and Dubuque next week.

In less than 100 days, Iowans will begin casting their votes for the 2012 election. The work we do this summer will determine the outcome of this race in Iowa. Show your support for President Obama and other Democrats, sign up to join a Gotta Vote Early Weekend of Action event near you.
Today, Mitt Romney’s bus rolls through Iowa. The Hawkeye State is getting its introduction to Romney economics—and middle-class families aren’t liking what they’re seeing: higher taxes, fewer teachers, and higher costs for college.
Share this postcard from Iowa to get the word about about what Romney economics means for the middle class.
Iowa Women for Obama are writing postcards to other women about why they support President Obama.
